Living the Yoga Sutras
This 6-week course is open to yoga teachers and committed practitioners with an interest in yoga philosophy. No prior study of the Yoga Sutras is required. Whether this is your first introduction to these teachings or a return to familiar ones, you are warmly welcome.
The Yoga Sutras are more than an ancient philosophical text—they are a practical guide to living with greater awareness, presence, and purpose. In this continuing education course, we’ll explore the sutras not simply as ideas to study, but as teachings to experience. Together, we’ll examine key concepts through discussion, guided reflection, meditation, journaling, and real-life application, discovering how these timeless teachings can deepen both our personal practice and our teaching.Whether you’re revisiting the sutras for the first time in years or meeting them with fresh eyes, this course will invite you to move beyond memorization and into meaningful embodiment.
You’ll leave with a richer understanding of yoga philosophy, practical tools for integrating the sutras into daily life, and renewed confidence in sharing these teachings with authenticity and heart. This course is designed for yoga teachers, dedicated practitioners, and lifelong learners who are curious about bringing ancient wisdom into modern life—one practice, one conversation, and one breath at a time.
